Volunteer Needs This Week 5/29 TO 6/3

We made it through the first parade, now it’s on to the next busy week! Here are some opportunities to volunteer and get involved:
Lunch/snack help this weekend

  • 2 additional parents to donate and provide lunch (Saturday 6/2)
  • 4 parents to donate and provide snacks (Sunday 6/3)

Please e-mail me at dwsaxton21978@gmail.com; if you can help, and let me know which day. I will put you in touch with one another via e-mail and you can work together to decide the menu. Parents need to be available to drop off food by 12:15 on Saturday and 2:45 on Sunday (or make arrangements to drop it off with your student in the morning)
Good ideas include subs/pasta salads/sloppy joes (lunch) fruit/granola bars (snacks) etc.

Help with Color Guard props during performances

We are looking for four parents who are willing to walk with the color guard (two parents at every parade) to help with their prop transitions. We will have two rolling carts with flags that will need to be pushed alongside the group for every performance (starting with the family preview performance on Saturday night). We would like to have four parents trained to do this, but only two will be needed at each parade, so any volunteers for this position should plan to attend at least half of the parades (and be part of the action!). Please e-mail me if you are interested in this opportunity. dwsaxton21978@gmail.com
