With this upcoming warm weekend, we wanted to recap everyone on this process that has been successfully utilized by the Cadets over the past four seasons:

*Cadets should be drinking 8-12 glasses of water every day to maintain a proper lever of hydration for the marching season.

*Cadets will have water available to them while warming-up & up to the time they line up to march.

*Directors & volunteers will move through the ranks minutes before step off to make sure everyone is good to go.

*The kids march for an average of 30-45 minutes during any given parade.

*More water is waiting for the kids when they are dismissed from the parade route.

*There will be 7 staff members, 4 parent volunteers, and assorted board members who are with the band on the route.  If one of the kids becomes distressed, we will aid them quickly and get them to where they can cool off and get what they need.
