The Wizards of Winter have announced they will be bringing their 2024 Christmas Dream Tour to the Rogers High School Performing Arts Center, 21000 141st Ave. N., on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m.

This stop on The Wizards of Winter Christmas tour will be a benefit concert for the 728 Cadets Marching Arts. Tickets are available through The Wizards of Winter website (thewizardsofwinter.com) or directly at www.vancoevents.com/us/CNTA. Concert sponsorships are available by contacting the group at 728cadetsmarchingband@gmail.com.

According to Scott and Sharon Kelly, the husband-and-wife duo behind The Wizards of Winter, organizations like the 728 Cadets Marching Arts aligns perfectly with the type of groups they like to partner with for benefit shows.

“We can relate to the financial challenges of running a musical group as our daughters participated in WGI Independent Guard and Drumline groups as well as our local high school band for 12 years. It takes a lot of bake sales and car washes to keep these groups alive,” Scott Kelly said.

Paul Tentis, a former 728 Cadets board president and event promoter said: “During my 8+ years on the Cadets board, we were always looking for an opportunity to partner with a musical group to raise funds and we found a great group. The Wizards have been tremendous to work with. They truly are committed to the saying ‘Musicians Helping Musicians.’”

Lori Motzko, current 728 Cadets board president said she is looking forward to the concert on Dec. 7.

“It’s exciting, yet humbling, to know there are world class musicians willing to come to ISD 728 to help our group raise some needed funds for these incredible students,” Motzko said. “I hope the community embraces this special opportunity and comes out for a night of Christmas music.”
